Titanoboa - monster snake?

        

               The worlds largest snake is from 40-50 feet long and it weighs about 2,500 lbs. A Python snake in lucky to even get up to 30 feet. This snake was so big that a python or anacondas is not even big enough to compare with this creature. Cerrejonesis is the largest mining operation in Cloumbia and in the year 2009 28 of these fossils were found in this area most of them in a 15 mile pit, the largest pit the facility has to offer. These snakes lived from 58-60 million years ago this is the known as the Palaeocene era. However there have been some sitings of these snakes alive. These snakes are called,"Titanoboa". These creatures live in temperatures around 90 degrees F.

              These snakes were so powerful that they could swallow a crocodile in just seconds and they would fight with dinosaurs, but after the dinosaurs became extinct they still lived 10million years longer than the dinosaurs did. On top of that us humans weren't even strong enough to fight with these snakes. This means that something else was strong enough to kill the snakes. There are some sayings about a giant crocodile that killed all these snakes. There have been some bones recovered that are big for a crocodile but it has not been proven.
